I love the flavors of chai spice. Chai spice usually includes a mix of spices, such as cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, allspice, cloves and nutmeg. I used a chai spic mix, but you can also make your own. Here is a recipe for Homemade Chai Spice Mix. I also used chai tea latte concentrate, which you can find at any grocery store. I bought this Oregon Chai mix at Target.

Chai Spice Banana Muffins
A delicious, easy banana muffin recipe with chai spice flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup chai tea latte concentrate
- 1-2 tsp chai spice
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mash the ripe bananas. Add egg, chai tea concentrate, oil, yogurt, brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix until combined.

In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients – flour, almond flour, baking soda, chai spice, and salt.

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined – do not overmix.

Add batter to a muffin tin, with each muffin tin 3/4 full.

Bake for 20 minutes.
