Instant Pot Pecan Pie Oatmeal

Instant Pot Pecan Pie Oatmeal is an easy breakfast recipe made in the instant post {pressure cooker}.

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 3 1/4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • 4 Medjool dates pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup raw pecans chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg


  1. Add ingredients to an instant pot and stir.

  2. Close the lid and seal the instant pot. Make sure the pressure release valve is set to “sealing.”

  3. Select Manual and set the cooking time to 3 minutes.

  4. After the time is up, either slowly release the pressure {with a cloth over the pressure release valve} or let the pressure naturally release by letting the instant pot rest for 10-15 minutes.

Slow Cooker Directions:
1. Add ingredients to a slow cooker and stir.
2. Cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours.
